Euro Off Road Series – Round 2 – Charleroi, Belgium

The second round of the 2012 Euro Offroad Series (EOS) sponsored by dBoots, took place in Charleroi, Belgium, over the weekend of 9-11th March 2012.

The race saw a big pool of talent take part to battle for the honours in the hotly contested 2WD and 4WD buggy – along with Short Course classes.

dBoots nanobytes were the control tyre for all classes – with any dBoots on the front of 2WD buggies.

Grip levels were high – the small tread pattern of the nanobytes dug into the astroturf that made up the majority of Charleroi’s surface, with vigor.

Team Durango’s Jorn Neumann took control of the 4WD class with his Team Durango DEX410 buggy – whilst the 2WD class was taken by Tamiya driver Lee Martin.

Hupo Honigl fought a close battle with Jorn Neumann for the win in 4WD Short Course but eventually took the win ahead of his team mate – both using the Team Durango DESC410R.

Team Durango originator Gerd Strenge was testing the new Team Durango DESC210R 2WD short course truck and managed to take the win in this class also.

Overall it was a great meeting and everyone now looks forward to the final round of the series in Dortmond, Germany, at the end of April.

Jörn & Hupo sweep up at Petit 2012

Using the dBoots nanobyte tyres on their rides – Jörn Neumann and Hupo Hönigl took all three classes at the 2012 running of the PetitRC race, held at Ardent Arena for the second year running.

Jörn Neumann took 2WD and Short Course, whilst Hupo Hönigl took the win in 4WD.

It was a really successful weekend for dBoots, with plenty of drivers trying the brand for the first time and loving the results.

The Petit RC Race for 2012 will be held at Ardent Raceway for the second year running, over the weekend of 14^th & 15^th January 2012. dBoots are pleased to announce that we’re the control tyre for the event – with the new dBoots nanobyte tyre being the recommended choice and fastest in testing. dBoots control tyres must be run on all axles – driven or not.

Tyres, including the new nanobyte, will also be available at the event should you need to buy some.
